St. Stephen's is a small parish of 97 members. Generally we celebrate Eucharist 2 Sundays a month and have Morning Prayer the other two Sundays. Each month we have a parish breakfast offered by the Men's Group. Our Women's Group meets monthly and plans ways to enhance the parish life of St. Stephen's. Most notably they plan an annual Christmas bazaar called the 'Gingerbread Festival'.
Annually on Shrove Tuesday we invite the Baker City community to our pancake supper. A new facet of our parish life is the plan to have a monthly tea for women. This will provide a time for the women to get together socially, while at the same time inviting others into the church. An important part of our extended parish family is the Sumpter Community Church. They have services the first and third Sundays of each month.
