Ascension School Bus Information

The bus has enabled many campers to attend camp that might otherwise not have been able to. The best way to keep the bus running is to keep it full.

The bus is provided for all youth camps except Discovery and Arts Camps.

Arlington and Biggs Junction are “flag stops”; you must contact Ascension School if you need to be picked up there.

THE BUS MAY NOT STOP. at any place where campers are not expected.
Be sure to make a reservation! Please indicate which stop you will use.

THE BUS CANNOT WAIT. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, and be ready to load your gear. Call your local coordinator if you have a problem.

SACK LUNCHES Campers who board the bus before the lunch stop in The Dalles should bring a sack lunch and drink. Lunch will be provided on the return trip.

BAGGAGE Please pack carefully, compactly, and securely. Ascension School and the bus company will not be responsible for lost or damaged baggage.

FARES must be paid in advance. Also, all registration forms are due at Ascension prior to the start of camp.

The bus driver is instructed to stop and call parents of any campers who, at his discretion, are endangering the safety of others by their behavior. The parents will pick up the camper.
