Campers can not be attended to before 3 PM.

Arts camp begins at l0am Wed. and ends Sat. with the Cove Cherry Festival!

Departure Sessions end at 8:30 am on the last day of camp. Please let us know on the registration form who will pick up Campers.

Mail Campers and parents will want to hear from each other, so packing stamped self-addressed envelopes and postcards is a good idea. We encourage parents to send cheerful notes to campers, but please avoid mentioning how the camper is missed at home (as this can lead to homesickness). Send mail at least four days before the end of camp to assure delivery to a camper.

Care Packages Packages from home are symbols of love and are intended to please the camper. To camp staff, they are often a problem creating upset stomachs or hurt feelings. We suggest that they be kept small, and include traveling or card games that encourage sharing among other campers. Ascension street address is 1006 Church St., Cove OR 97824.

Health Care Ascension School has a professional health care provider in residence during all Youth camps excluding Discovery. All campers are covered by the camp’s accident policy which is secondary coverage to the family’s own insurance. The coverage provided is a limited medical reimbursement policy, covering emergency and first aid services.

Cars High school students driving to camp must turn their keys over to the program director at the time of arrival. Keys will be returned the last day of camp.

Lost and Found Any item that is lost or found will be brought to the check out on the last morning of camp. Please label campers’ belongings. Ascension School will not be responsible for items left behind. All lost and found items not claimed will be turned over to a local charity in September.
