Exploring Celtic Spirituality
Presenter:  The Rev. Marcus Losack,
Founder and Executive Director of Ceile De, an ecumenical organization in Ireland specializing in study Programs and Pilgrimages in Celtic Spirituality

Marcus is an ordained Anglican-Episcopal priest and has worked in various parishes in the UK, Ireland, and North Africa.  As Senior Lecturer and Course Director at St. George's College in Jerusalem, he was responsible for leading groups to explore sacred sites of the Bible, especially the ancient desert monasteries associated with the Desert Tradition.  He has also helped to develop pilgrimages to New Mexico, exploring the links between the Celtic and Native American traditions.  He is the author of two books and various articles for theological journals.

The proposed agenda for this weekend retreat explores the following themes:
Session I:  The Bible and the Desert - Exploring the Origins of Desert Spirituality
Session II:  The Wisdom of the Ancestors
Session III:  St. Patrick and the Teachings of the Celtic Saints
Session IV:  Embracing the Presence of God
Session V:  The Cave of the Heart and the Desert Within
Session VI:  From Darkness to Light
