2010 DIOCESAN CONVENTION
The 40th Diocesan Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Oregon will be held in Hood River October 1-3, 2010, hosted by the Parish of St. Mark the Evangelist. Vicki Kelsey is chair of convention. The theme is "Being Christ's Hands in the World...[No Excuses]"

TO BE ELECTED AT DIOCESAN CONVENTION:
To Diocesan Council, one cleric (priest or deacon) member, 2-year term; one cleric position, 3-year term; two lay members, 3-year terms.
To Standing Committee: one cleric position, 3-year term; one lay member, 3-year term.
Council and Standing Committee members are expected to attend a Nov. 19-21 planning retreat at Ascension School and bi-monthly meetings in 2011, beginning in January or the first week in February, plus the 2011 Diocesan Convention, tentatively set for Hermiston, Oct. 14-16.
As General Convention Deputies: four lay deputies, four ordained deputies, and their alternates. General Convention is July 5-12, 2012 in Indianapolis.
